Vuyokazi Myoli

Research Assistant

Vuyokazi Myoli draws on an interdisciplinary background in anthropology, psychology and the sociology of health to contribute to the work of the Wits Centre for Health Economics and Decision Science (PRICELESS SA). Her work supports interdisciplinary research that informs evidence-based public health policy, health systems strengthening and decision-making, with a particular focus on the social and commercial determinants of health.

Her research interests include health equity and community-engaged approaches to improving health outcomes. She contributes to interdisciplinary public health research through research ethics, stakeholder engagement, and qualitative and mixed-methods approaches, helping to generate evidence that informs health policy and practice in South Africa and globally.

Vuyokazi is committed to advancing equitable public and global health by connecting research with lived experience and contributing to evidence that supports responsive, inclusive and effective health policy and practice.
